March Book Club: The First Ladies
Our Spry Senior book club “Live, Laugh and Love” meets on the second Wednesday of every month. March’s book is The First Ladies by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. The novel is about the extraordinary partnership between First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and civil rights activist Mary McLeod Bethune—an unlikely friendship that changed the world. If you would like to join the group, pick up a copy (available in both regular and large print) at the Brook Park library and mention you are with the Spry Senior book club.
How to RSVP
